Javea is located along the eastern coast of Spain,
nestled in a valley below the mountain of Montgo.
Javea sits on a large natural bay in the
Mediterranean Sea with two peninsulas
that extend east toward the early sun.
This most easterly point of Spain first receives the
morning sun on the Costa Blanca
" Amancer de Espana "
This area coastline that gets lots of sunshine
averaging over 320 days annually
Javea is a growing town and port that includes many
non-Spanish people.
A sea-side destination with many benefits.
While the community continues to grow, it is unique
in that the high-rise buildings that have ruined many
coastlines have been minimized here
through the foresight of local officials and planners.

You will love Javea if it's your first trip
and keep coming back!

with the Town of Javea in the
foreground
and it's prominent fortified church.
Javea (or Xabia in Valenciano)......

is known as the Pearl of the Costa Blanca.

It is an area that has a microclimate yielding
many sunny days - over 300 each year.

For many years Javea has been a small town
with a long history. In recent centuries it was
actually a walled city, and the main street around
the town reflects the former wall's location and
fortified past.

The town has a typical municipal market which is
a place to see on it's own. Also to pick up your
daily fresh food and consumables!

There is a weekly market on Thursdays where
foods and goods are to be found. You will be
shopping this Mercidillo with the locals.

While growth in Javea is typical of the growth
seen along the Mediterranean Coast, it has also
brought many shopping options, tourist
attractions and a great selection of restaurants
........ that do compliment many local excursions
and traditional fiestas.

Enjoy Javeas natural beauty and historical
sights of Spain that transend time.
